CLEAN & CLEAR PLUS filters feature durable fiberglass-reinforced tanks, lockring tank clamp for safety, and continuous internal air relief. Like all Pentair cartridge filter systems, CLEAN & CLEAR systems feature cleanable, recyclable filter cartridges for the ultimate in carefree pool filtration.
When it comes to pool filters, you couldn't make a better choice than Clean and Clear. To begin with, it's made with thermoplastic materials that are virtually impervious to pool chemicals and environmental elements. Because of its innovative lock ring design, the Clean and Clear is easier to use than other split tanks since it fully engages and locks with just 1/3 of a revolution. Plus, it has a coreless cellular media design that makes cleaning a much simpler process.
Aside from advanced component technology, the Clean and Clear also features "safe and stable" design elements. These include a continuous internal air bleed, as well as the patented High Flow Air Relief Valve. Together, they virtually eliminate air accumulation by releasing air as quickly as it builds up. Spring loaded safety latches on the lock ring prevent accidental disengaging of the ring and possible tank separation.All models are equipped with easy spin-on unions for plumbing hookups. These filters are NSF listed for commercial applications and are available in 50, 75, 100, 150, and 200 square foot sizes.
The Clean and Clear can be purchased as an individual unit, or as a complete system - including a Clean and Clear filter, hoses, proven Maxim pump, cord and plug.
